Paisley Faye was born in Aberdeen,SD on May 19th, 2015 at 4lbs 10oz 17 1/2 inches long.
Gestationally she was only 31 weeks. She was flown to Sioux Falls, where she was found to be positive for Beckwith Weideman Syndrome (BWS). She has an enlarged tongue which obstructs her breathing and bottling. She is currently getting fed through a NG tube. On Monday, July 13th, 2015 Paisley will under go her first of many surgeries. She will have a GTube put in, her umbilical hernia sized down, her stomach wrapped around her esophagus to help with her acid reflux, and possible a trachea tube. There is no set plan for afte
r the surgery, just thoughts and prayers that she will get through this and have a fast and speedy recovery so she can come home.
