PACS1 is a very rare syndrome effecting around 100 children and young adults worldwide. Many families have waited for what feels like a lifetime to get a diagnosis for their child.
What does a diagnosis mean? To me, it meant that I’m not alone. It means there are other people out there who understand what you are going through. It means a listening ear. And sometimes, a diagnosis means an added family.
The PACS1 Family is small but mighty! We span from one side of the world to the other. In March 2019, we have an opportunity to be together in Texas! Families are traveling thousands of miles to get here and some are borrowing money and forgoing vacations just to get here. All because there is something unexplainable that happens when families like us are together - many for the first time.
This campaign is for the incredible PACS1 family! We are a group of mama and papa bears who have fought hard for our babies. Help us be able to fellowship together and fill each other’s souls.
