Suzanne's Journey with Cancer

My mother Suzanne has learned that her triple negative breast cancer has metastasized in her lymph nodes and in her brain.
She has taught me the true meaning of grace and finding the blessings in every day. I have learned so much from watching how she has done things and how she has approached life. She has always taken care of others but now it is our turn to take care of her. She needs our help to get through this journey.
My mother’s treatment plan will involve chemotherapy and MRI’s to closely monitor her cancer. We know that she needs to focus all of her efforts on getting well. To do this she will not be able to return to her job for a while and she will need to maintain a cancer fighting organic diet.
My mom and dad are thankful for the little things in life and mostly for your prayers. Especially my mom, the prayers lift her up and give her the strength that she needs to carry this cross. If you can make a donation to help her with the financial burden this disease can bring, our family would be grateful.
My parents were hesitant to ask for help in this way. But I believe that friends and family want to help and support them. Her travel expense to Dana Farber, the medical bills, and the grocery bill, alone are daunting especially on a single income.
The funds that are collected will be used to defray the costs of medical bills: deductibles, copays, and many additional fees not covered by insurance. Contributions will also be used for healthy meals, travel expenses, and whatever it takes to keep her home running smoothly while she undergoes treatment.
