Joan Beaner was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia in 2013. On February 23, 2015 she started her first round of chemotherapy and will continue until August. The medical expenses are extensive and with Joan being out of work because of the side affects to the chemotherapy, this benefit will help reduce the incurred medical costs.
