Support For Our Friend Jake Henry!X
This is basically the cost of a bottle of wine a month - really nothing at all!
To be told that after 8 years undergoing chemo, that your cancer is not going away and that you now have likely under 18 months left is devastating.
Imagine this is you. Imagine realising that your financial position will mean that you can only really get by. You will get more unwell as the months pass. And you have very little time left.
If I were in Jakes shoes I would yearn so badly to make the most of the precious time I have. I would want to be able to jump in a cab as and when I need to get around. I would want to be warm and happy and content that I can get out and about as much as physically possible while my body still allows. I’m sure we all want Jake to really be able to enjoy all that he can and not have to worry about money.
As stated above I will be paying £10.00 a month in to this fund and if only 25 people will join me on the same then Jake can move around comfortably as much as he needs each month.
If 50 friends will join me then Jake can hopefully make some plans to warm his soul and enjoy some trips - maybe in the UK - Maybe a holiday in the Sun - to soak in as much joy and wonder and happiness as he can.
Jake has over 400 friends on FB. If only 50 of us can afford to set up £10.00 a month direct debit to this Go Fund Me I have set up for him then we can make sure that he does not go without anything in any way.
He is our friend and he should get up each day with his eccentric style and great big smile, feeling encased in love and warmth and making plans for as long as his body lets him.
No one should have money worries on top of their battle and I hope that this Go Fund Me will let our friend live however many days he has left with us to the absolute maximum.
We wish to update you all that thanks to your support and sharing his plight, Jake's story is set to feature on a BBC Radio Berkshire show as well as also having featured in both the Get Reading and Daily Mirror online publications. We are also setting up a petition to ask the Government to force a reassessment over the way that PIP reviews are carried out.
When terminal illness is not considered serious enough for receipt of full benefits there is clearly something wrong!
As soon as the petition is up and running then we will share this for your signatures. Thanks again from Jake to every one of you wonderful, generous and caring people!!!
A huge THANK YOU from Jake to all who have contributed. We wish to update you all and confirm that Jake's story is set to feature on BBC Radio Berkshire as well as now being featured in both the Get Reading and Daily Mirror online publications. We are also setting up a petition asking the Government to assess ATOL's procedures in their handling of the PIP process. When terminal illness is not considered serious enough for receipt of full benefits there is clearly something wrong! As soon as the petition is up and running - which should be by tomorrow morning, then we will share this for signatures. Thanks again from Jake to every one of you wonderful, generous and caring people!!!

I think do not accept this diagnosis, use the money, to invest in health bringing, foods, alkaline sing foods, juices, a juicer a blender, hemp seed, hemp leaf, grow it, CBd oil, black seed oil, bicarbonate of soda, turmeric, research, The body wants to heal.... It needs a bit of help though with what is put into it...
