On June 15, 2015, Stephen Wigal died tragically in an automobile accident. He leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Alyson and their 5 children, Matthew, Emily, Josiah, Seth and Ian.

Many of you may have read the story on AL.Com that came out on September 22, in the sports section about 2 of their sons that play football. The article titled "Satsuma brothers make tough decision to return to football following father's death", gives you a glimpse at the incredible strength of this family.

Stephen was the sole provider for his family. Alyson has made her life's work raising their children. She is only now explaining her husband was days shy of receiving insurance benefits with his new job. So there are no life insurance benefits for the family. They are without an automobile as well, as their other vehicle was also totaled in an accident 6 weeks earlier. When it rains, it pours, said Alyson.
