Hey Facebook family and friends, 
My family and I need some help with home repairs due to flood damage. We did not have flood insurance because we are not in a flood zone so we didn't expect flooding, but yesterday we were standing in 6 to 12 inches of rain depending upon which area of our house you were standing. We were blessed to have some people in the Merkel community help us get the water out, but the aftermath is a whole new ballgame. We had intentions to sell the house but with the damage, it had to be removed from the market until repairs are complete. I know many who want to help can not come to Merkel and pull up flooring and carpet or replace trim, so I am starting this page. If you can not give that is ok just please pray. I know God has a great plan and in the end He will be glorified. No amount is to small and we appreciate it more than you can imagine.
