Saving Souls, 1 CURSILLO at a Time!

Dear Supporters,
With Fr Ted's blessing and approval, he thankfully supported us raising money for the Cursillo Center in Opelousas,LA. This fund will be strictly used to keep the Cursillo Center running, as well as much needed updates and improvements to the facility. In gratitude, we had already planned on doing whatever we could to raise money for the Cursillo Center, including this gofundme account, to help keep this gift of God running for all those yet to experience this holy ground. Now we would like to do even more, as quickly as possible, due to someone breaking into the Cursillo Center on Friday night. As stated in the news report, the thief smashed through the door, rummaged through every drawer and closet, cleaned out the cash register, and emptied the safe. Father Ted is holding the Women's Cursillo next weekend (November 12th-15th). Father Ted informed that there are 10 Cursillo weekends (not counting other activities relative to operations and formation), and each Cursillo weekend operates at a minimum $3,000/weekend. Donations from those who make the weekend barely cover experiences much less miscellaneous necessities or the unknown. They solely rely on our donations to keep this holy place running and are not funded by any other outside source. Our goal is to raise $100,000 by Christmas. Any little bit will help, whether it's $1 or $100! Thank you so much in advance. We greatly appreciate it, and we know without a doubt that Father Ted will be so grateful. Father Ted commented that if this fundraising is successful it would place the Cursillo Center in a position where it wouldn't have to keep begging to keep afloat and whatever donations received in the future would be more than enough to maintain our spiritual home for many souls to come.
