Punch Cancer In The Face

Around noon on Wednesday, December 14, we received the news that no one wants to hear.
Cancer. Ovarian cancer.
Laying in my hospital bed, I immediately felt God's embrace tighten around me and a peace like an ever flowing, powerful river came crashing into my soul like never before.
He told me, "You are my child. I have plans for you. Big ones. Many you cannot even begin to understand or see. This can't stop me, nor will it stop you because I'm carrying you, my precious one. I love you."
How amazing is our God.
It's my time to fight like hell, and you better believe I'm goin' in guns

First stop, surgery. Next stop, Chemo. If you'd like periodic updates, my family will be updating my Caring Bridge site for me on a regular basis.
"When you don't move the mountains I'm needing you to move :: When you don't part the waters I wish I could walk through :: When you don't give the answers as I cry out to you :: I WILL TRUST IN YOU."
All this being said, I don't want pity or sympathy. What I would love more than anything is for comments stating one thing, big or small, that you're doing TODAY to make today COUNT. And of course, continued prayers for our long road ahead."
We would greatly appreciate assistance in our fight. This is a long battle and this would allow us to not have additional hardships once we beat this!
