Birthday for NM Dream Center
Tax deductible
I was that fortunate one. The one that raised in a loving home, with a mom and dad who went to work everyday to provided for our family. We hung out together, we did things together, there was always a feeling of sense, security, and drive from my parents to go make something of myself. My mom was a den leader, a scout leader, she was always there to support me, no matter how crazy my ideas were.
I had heard of child abuse, and children being kicked out of their home, but I didn’t believe it because I had never seen it. As I became an adult, and met my first wife, I began to see first hand that it was real. And I was able to see the damage that it causes. The emotional, physical and sexual abuse. Then with my second wife, I saw a whole new level of abuse and the long-term effects from it. She to be a homeless youth at the age of 15. Thank God, her first husband came into her life and saved her from what could have been a very devastating end to her life.
One thing I cannot stand is seeing a child’s life opportunities be taken away by a manipulative adult who’s only ambition is to capitalize their riches upon the misfortune of what a child was born into. Finding out that there are 5,000 homeless youths in Albuquerque alone, devastated me, which is why Call Me Ozz has partnered with New Mexico Dream Center, to put and end to the homeless youth in our community.
I am asking you, begging you, to give up one cup of Starbucks coffee to help a homeless youth today. Any amount is greatly appreciated. My birthday is on November 18th. We will run this campaign until then. The greatest birthday gift you could give me, is a donation to the future of our community. God Bless.
