PJ & Pets: 650 Parliament Fire

This week, roughly 1,500 residents were displaced by an electrical fire at a large apartment building on Parliament Street. An incident that has resulted in many being unable to return to their homes for many months.
Thankfully during that time PJ was not home, but her pets were unfortunately trapped in the apartment. With many of her friends, she waited anxiously for hours for news of her 3 cats. During which time, more fires and smoke prevented anyone from returning to grab essentials and animals.
In a crazy miracle, someone smashed down her door and rescued her cats, which were then treated at a vet hospital for smoke inhalation.
Furthermore, extensive Flooding and Smoke damage has left PJ, her pets, and all residences at 650 Parliament, homeless for as long as 2 months.
PJ is rightfully shaken and now has to home her animals with her parents, scramble to find temporary living arrangements, cover her shifts, deal with emergency expenses, extensive damage to her property, and essentially has to start from scratch.
To help PJ in this tough time, we've started this gofundme. PJ is too proud to ask for help, and while I know many other people have been affected by this tragedy I'm hoping that her friends, loved ones, and kind strangers will help her in her time of need.
Anything and everything not only helps, but is deeply appreciated. Let's show the power of our community by banding together to help not only one of our most vocal and supportive allies but someone that many of us consider family!
