Oxygen for Aaron

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for visiting our GoFundMe account. As many of you know Aaron has Cystic Fibrosis and is on oxygen. He is usually seen carrying his small oxygen concentrator machine when we are out and about. This machine is convenient to carry around but more importantly it gives Aaron freedom.

Sadly we are losing Aaron’s oxygen concentrator due to insurance not supporting this machine. The insurance company will only provide standard oxygen tanks. With the oxygen concentrator Aaron has 12 hours of battery life to be out of the house and if it is getting low we have chargers to plug in wherever we are.

In comparison the regular oxygen tanks have 3-4 hours per tank so we would have to take 4 oxygen tanks with us and if we are out longer than anticipated we would have to stop at an ER to get Aaron some oxygen. The oxygen tanks are also dangerous to have in the house with a young child who could easily knock one over. The tanks cannot be left in the car in the Arizona summer so we would have to carry storage tanks with us.

Aaron is a 32 year old, husband, and father who is active. Our only option is to purchase an Inogen G3 oxygen concentrator for the safety of our family and to continue to give Aaron the independence he deserves. The total set for our GoFundMe is the cost of the Inogen G3 oxygen concentrator that our family will be purchasing. This is an unexpected health expense that our family needs.
