Annual operating

Please help us get "Hook" to his new home in Florida. He's a sweet boy who has been offered a great home. Now, we just need to get him there! 

Here's his story:

"Hook" dragged himself onto the property of an Ayuda friend and supporter near the village of Panajachel. He was suffering from a horrible car accident which occured on the road to Santa Catarina. His front leg was shattered, with no feeling. He also had a big gash on his head and internal bruising.

After x-rays and a thorough examination, Dr. Isael decided that the best thing for "Hook" was to amputate the injured leg. Approximately 5 years old, he had a strong will to live. 

Hook rebounded from the surgery very quickly, like nothing had happened! He was pain free and loving life again!

Unfortunately, our search for a permanent home in Guatemala was fruitless. We expanded our search and scored!

Hook has been offered a fabulous home in the Fort Myers Beach area of Florida.  He will be welcomed by an animal loving couple along with other rescue dogs and cats into his forever home. We couldn't be happier for him!
