Help Save Maggie

Maggie is a Catahoula mix that I rescued from the pound as a puppy. She has been an incredible companion to me for 6 years. On March 14 around 2am I noticed her foaming and drooling from the mouth so I took her into the bathtub where she started to convulse and have her first seizure. I immediately took her to the animal hospital where they tested for toxins, ruled that out, and informed me she may have just developed epilepsy and that it's fairly common for her age group. They released her to me and I brought her back home. That same night around 6am I woke up to her having another grand mal seizure and foaming from the mouth again. I called the hospital and brought her back in and they decided to give her an IV and go ahead and start with epilepsy treatments. The first medication they administered was phenobarbital, which they said was the first step in treatment. However, even at the highest dose it was not controlling her seizures, so they suggested giving her Keppra, which seems to be controlling her seizures for the time being. The only issue is that in order to find out what is causing her seizures she would have to get an MRI, which runs anywhere from $3000 to $4000. Additionally, Keppra costs $300 a month, and needs to be administered 3 times a day. I cannot afford any of this but I also cannot say goodbye to my best friend. Any donation would help. Her hospital bills alone are over $1000 not including any treatment or an MRI. Please help me save my companion, she's only 6 years old and she is the best dog anyone could ever hope for.
