Outbound Abroad: “Soy Niña”

Outbound Abroad will be launching its first trip in December of 2018!! We will be hiking volcanos, surfing, volunteering, and visiting a charity that has become near to our hearts: “Soy Niña”.
•34 Costa Rican girls aged 12-17 have a child every day
•60% of Costa Rican Girls have their first sexual relation before the age of 15
•A disheartening amount of these instances are with a much older adult
Soy Niña is a non-governmental organization that creates a community for young girls (especially those from low income communities) to help combat these statistics. Each site has a psychologist who leads activities that inculcate values into the young girls- ultimately providing them with a sense of worth and community. We will be visiting Soy Niña in San Jose to deliver a check and spend time with the girls of this organization!
100% of donations will go to Soy Niña!
