Brandon and Jeremy have Juvenile Batten Disease, a fatal brain disorder that causes blindness, seizures, behavioral outbursts, the loss of motor skills such as walking, talking and even swallowing. There is no treatment for Batten Disease. Our boys have medical needs outside the normal insurance coverage and resources of our family. Funds raised here will go into a special needs trust established in anticipation of meeting those needs. Our current goals include modifications to the home to add a wheelchair accessible bathroom, ceiling lifts, and the biggest expense will be a large custom wheelchair van that will accomodate two chairs.
