Our Love Letter To Cleveland Mural

Last week we decided to try a "Go Fund Me" campaign to reinstall and replace the missing mural panel. Our hope was to get enough to do the one panel. The response and help we are getting has exceeded our expectations and folks are beginning to talk about redoing the whole mural since the other two panels have faded from the sun and elements. We got another quote from the printer to upgrade the process and replace all three panels. Once this is accomplished they will last longer and look better!!! Your continued support is appreciated. ORIGINAL STORY: In November of 2016 the heavy Cleveland winds tore down the front panel of our 3 part mural "Love Letter To Cleveland" which is in Ohio City next to the West Side Market (back parking area) and also a Lolly the Trolly stop!!
Since then Gary and I have been trying to have the panel reinstalled. No one person or organization has the money to restore the mural to its original state. So we are asking for your help. We hope a lot of people working together can make this three-part mural whole again.
We need $2,500 dollars total: $1,200 to have the mural printed on a heavy vinyl and another $1,200+ to have it installed.
The panel is 8 feet high x 26 feet long and pictures some of the people, places, and things that we love about the City we live and grew up in...Cleveland.
The mural was originally funded by an art grant that Gary received from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture in 2013. Since we are artists and huge fans of the city we thought what could be better than to pay homage to Cleveland with a mural, so we digitally created the 3 panel piece of public art which is 60 feet long x 8 feet high. We unveiled and presented it in a ceremony on September 10, 2013 with the Mayor, Councilman and people of Cleveland.
The missing panel is the 26 foot front panel that is now just a big boring orange framed blank space!
Help us get the mural with Dorothy Fuldheim , Ghoulardi, Dick Goddard, Harvey Pekar and many more Cleveland icons back up so we can ALL enjoy it!! Thank you in advance for your support.
