Oscar Isaac 2019 Birthday Campaign

As Oscar Isaac fans, we've watched him bring life to some of our favorite characters on both stage and screen. In honor of his 40th birthday, we wanted to give something back, something that might make a bit of difference in the world.
This year we are hosting a fundraising campaign in support of Union of Concerned Scientists, a cause close to Oscar's heart. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $4,000 between now and March 9th (his birthday). You are welcome to include a personal birthday message to him when donating.

1) It's a thoughtful way to show your appreciation and wish Oscar a happy birthday!
2) It is a scientific consensus that Earth's climate is warming at an alarming rate (X, X, X), and the consequences of inaction are life-threatening for all of us.
Oscar previously stated during the Force for Change charity event: "[Union of Concerned Scientists] are using rigorous, independent science to solve some of the world's biggest problems like climate change, sea level rise, and developing sustainable ways to feed, power, and transport ourselves." (X) (Side note: Oscar's sister is a climate change and environmental justice consultant.)
All funds donated to this campaign will be delivered directly from GoFundMe to the Union of Concerned Scientists, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. (Check out their excellent Charity Navigator rating for more information.)
