Hello. My name is Trey Spooner. I am 22, and work as an EMT in California, USA. Its long been a dream of mine to work in developing countries, and use my skills to provide assistance where needed.
Through Projects-Abroad.org I can accomplish this goal. Projects Abroad will allow me to travel to a country of my choosingchoosing and work in medical clinics and hospitals in developing or underserved countries. I plan on traveling to Asia or Africa, but the exact destination will depend on availability once I am able to set a date. My duration of stay will be for 2 weeks.
The money raised in this fund raiser will go towards the fees for the trip, as well as cover my home expenses while I'm away. These missions are not paid, therefor I must have a financial reserve since I will not collect pay forfor at least 2 weeks. The trip fees are typically $1500-3000. The remainder will be used to cover reoccuring payments while I'm away. Left over funds will be used to fund an additional trip, or donated to the organization.
