Operation Walking Wagon
OPERATION WALKING WAGON 2020
(A 100-MILE WALK ALONG THE SOUTH DOWNS WAY)
This August I will be attempting to walk the 100-mile length of the South Downs Way with my three children: Molly (13), Daisy (10) and Jack (6). We will be pushing and pulling a Walking Wagon (a large glorified wheelbarrow) containing all the camping equipment, food and water that we need to keep us going for a week or two.
We last did the walk in 2014 when Jack was 11 months old and were accompanied by two Dutch friends who helped to carry the kit. This time I will be the only adult so it will be hard work as the Downs are very hilly and very steep!
We are raising money for Hollycombe Primary School to help raise money for sports and play equipment that the school needs.
