Operation: Save Otis

Otis is the best good boy in the world. He's sweet, playful, and loving. I have raised from a pup, and he is now 9 years old. Yesterday, Otis herniated a disc in his back, and no longer has the use of his back legs. My wonderful vet gave him a steroid shot to see if that would help, but chances are it will not. There only two options left. The first is a surgery that would take him to Louisville and cost at least 5,000 dollars plus aftercare which I do not have. The other option is to put him to sleep. I don't want to let my baby go, but I also don't want him to suffer. This gofundme is basically my last ditch effort to secure funding for a costly surgery. Look at the pic. Isn't that a cute baby?  He's older now, but just as sweet and adorable. Even as we were leaving the emergency vet yesterday, there were people stopping to pet on him. Today, as I left my regular vet, a little girl had to stop me so she could give him some love.  I love my dog. He is so much more to me than just a pet. I know many of you will understand what I am talking about.  Whatever funds I get will go towards Otis's care. If I don't raise enough for surgery, I will use it to make his last days more comfortable.  But surgery is the ultimate goal. Donate if you can, and please share.  Thank you.
