In partnership with We’ve Got Your Back, Fort Payne Pediatrics is sponsoring the second annual Operation Back to School  fundraiser to help DeKalb County children currently in DHR custody. This fundraiser is specifically aimed at buying these children back to school clothing. There are currently 118 children from DeKalb County in DHR custody; 68 of these children will be starting school in August. 

Our goal is to provide each of the 68 children starting school this year with a $200 gift card to purchase shirts, pants, shoes, and a jacket. Many of these children will not be able to have new back to school clothing without this assistance. 

Last year we surpassed our goal of $8000.00. This year, we are asking for business and/or personal donations to reach our new goal of $13,600.

Each donation of $100 or more will receive special recognition (if you so choose) on Fort Payne Pediatrics ’ and We’ve Got Your Back’s Facebook pages.

All fundraising progress will be shared on our Facebook pages. When funds are disbursed at the end of our fundraiser, we will publish all donations (named or anonymous), the total amount raised, any gift card purchase fees, and the total amount disbursed.
