Explorium, Denton's children museum, is coming soon - well, we want it to!
In June 2017, we leased a space in Stonehill Center off of I-35 at Loop 288. Below is the rendering of what the space will look like. It’s really exciting to see all the different ways our children will be able to explore in a bright, safe and imaginative setting. To read more about each area in the museum, click here.
Now we need to build, update and furnish the space! What's the issue?! We have had some unexpected costs come up - we were given an updated estimate and it was 2-3 times the initial amount. This setback is a little discouraging, but we are so close! We know we can finish what we started with one more push of financial investment from the community.
The families of Denton and the surrounding area need a vibrant space where children can learn through exploration, creativity, and FUN! Have you heard of or attended Touch-A-Truck? That's us! We want to provide more and even better events, and we need your help to do so! Once we are fully funded, it will take just two months to open our doors. Just think – in two months your kids, your grandkids, or your school, could be learning and having a blast right here in Denton.
