Hello! My husband (Jeremiah Mitchell) and I (Wende Mitchell) have been blessed with the opportunity to serve some of God's precious children. God has opened the door for Jeremiah to hold a Bible study for an amazing group of young men at Wabash Valley College in Mt. Carmel, IL.
Every Wednesday Jeremiah travels the 45 min from our home in Olney to speak life, encourage, love on, and minister God's WORD to the Wabash Valley College Men's Basketball team in a conference room above their gym. I am priviledged to be able to cook/bake a warm meal for all of these young men. Many of them are not close to home and a hearty meal is a huge blesssing!
We plan on continuing this routine and prayerfully expanding as God leads and directs us. This is where you come in. We are hoping to start raising some money to help fund these dinners and purchase some Bibles for those who do not have one. We have set a goal on here of $1,000 mainly because gofundme required us to set a goal. We just ask that if God places it on anyones heart to join us in ministering to these men, that you would consider contributing a monetary gift. All money raised will strictly go to food, paper plates, plastic forks, possibly another large crockpot, and Bibles.
Being working class and having a family with three rapidly growing children, we understand if a monetary gift is not possible for you. Please join us in prayer. On our first night of doing this, we thought this is going to be great to be able to bless these men. God has shook me to my core with their testimonies and their tenderhearts. These are men. They are Warriors. But they need love and desire someone that is present and able to speak life and the love of God into them. Just a few weeks into this I can say that God has ministered to Jeremiah, myself, and even our children in ways greater than we imagined. Life long relationships are being built but most importantly God is reaching places He has never been invited to.

HIS goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men.

And FILLS THE HUNGRY SOUL WITH GOODNESS...."
