ONE STEP STARTS A MOVEMENT!

The 27th Annual Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade and Festival is happening on June 3, 2017, in Fresno’s historic Tower District!  The theme of this year’s parade and festival is ONE STEP STARTS A MOVEMENT!  As usual, costs for parade and festival, such as street blockage ($5,000), police presence ($1,500), security guards ($900), fencing ($2,500), and insurance ($1,800) have increased! 

This year our new hurtle is after 26years of the Festival being in the same location, the City told us that we could no longer have our large rented canopies/tents for the entertainment tent or for the dance tent. We are having to come up with some creative options for shade for our festival goers. We need to purchase more out door tables, chairs and shade umbrellas. We need some kind outdoor pooling system and misters. This all comes at additional costs. And at the last moments before the Pride Celebration.  

Despite the increased costs, we believe it is more important than ever to demonstrate LGBT visibility and to celebrate our incredible diversity!  Our Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade and Festival is the only LGBT Pride event in the entire Central Valley!  JOIN US!  TAKE A STEP!  Donate to the 27th Annual Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade and Festival!
