One Competition at a Time

We need your help to participate in the FIRST Robotics Competition in April 2017.
UASGC RoboSquad was started in 2015 by The Urban Assembly School for Global Commerce (UASGC). Last year, we won the Rookie All Star Award for NYC. The Rookie All Star Award celebrates the rookie team exemplifying a young but strong partnership effort, as well as implementing the mission of FIRST to inspire students to learn more about Science and Technology.
As a result of our success, we traveled to St. Louis for the World Championships where we placed 37th in the Carver Division.
This fall, we had the chance to speak at the FIRST Robotics Gala where we shared how robotics has changed our life by showing us what we can accomplish if we work hard with our teammates.
We have added a "community service" component to our team, as we believe it is important to give back. We volunteered at a children's cancer hospital here in NYC and demonstrated what our robot can do with an elementary school to spread the idea of STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art and Math) education.
We need your support to make this season even more successful than last year!
What the money is used for:
$5,000- Registration fee for FIRST Robotics competition
$2,000- Tools to help us build our robot
$1.500- Cost of parts to build our robot
$1,000- Team branding (t-shirts, sweatshirts, signs for our pit at the competition)
$500- Community outreach (we do demos at science fairs for younger students and need supplies to bring)
No donation is too small!
