One Classroom : Countless Dreams
Donation protected
A couple of weeks ago, my father set for a poverty-stricken African country to do some voluntary work with children. At first glance, his job there seemed easy, helping to teach English to unprivileged children. Upon arrival, he gifted some stationary to the children and got acquainted with the class organisers. Soon thereafter he realised that the classroom was rented from a day school and the class was held only for one hour each evening, making it impossible for all children to attend regularly. Dad’s now spoken to the organisers and has decided to try and build the children their own classroom so that they can go to class during daylight and increase attendance.
I’m hoping to raise enough money for the materials needed in building a single wooden classroom for the children of Zanzibar.
Let’s hope our little classroom raises some builders and some engineers that will build a whole school but we’ll start with a classroom
