Dear Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that I post this GoFundMe request, asking for your financial assistance. On Sunday November 27, 2016, life changed forever for the Dumitru family. Susana Dumitru was killed in a tragic car collision on Highway 7/8 in Wilmot, Ontario, west of Kitchener. She was just 29 years old.
Susana’s car was struck from behind by another vehicle, driven by a man who is now in custody and facing several criminal charges including dangerous and impaired driving*. The other victims in the car impacted by this preventable crime were Susana's loving husband Razvan, Susana's mother-in-law (George's Grandmother) and their precious 2-month old son George. George continues to fight for his life under the care of medical teams at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.
Susana and Razvan had been married for two years. This past spring, they moved to Canada from their native Romania to start a new life and adventure. They welcomed the arrival of their beautiful son George in September on top of relocating to London, Ontario and were just getting settled into parenthood and their new jobs and home.
Friends remember Susana as a loving dedicated mother, wife, a creative and talented architect, who was very kind, friendly and always made those around her feel at peace and calm. She was outgoing and full of life. Susana was truly beautiful on the inside and out and her eyes were always smiling. She loved flowers, and would often go on day trips with Razvan and George, just to enjoy being outside in nature. Susana took pleasure in the small meaningful things in life and cherished her family. She was a nurturing, loving, special mother who embraced life to the fullest. She was an active member of her church.
Loving friends of Razvan and Susana hope to raise $35,000 to help cover the costs of repatriating Susana's body back to Romania as her final resting place where most of her family lives. Any extra funds will be put towards George's medical expenses and trust fund. George continues to fight for his life with a long road to recovery ahead, and your prayers and support are most appreciated. At this time we are also asking for prayers for Razvan, baby George and their family who have lost a wife, a mother, a daughter and a sister.

Cu inima indurerata public aceasta campanie GoFundMe prin care apelam la ajutorul dumneavoastra financiar. Duminica, 27 noiembrie, 2016, viata familiei Dumitru a luat o intorsatura dramatica. Susana Dumitru si-a pierdut viata intr-un accident rutier pe autostrada 7/8 din Kitchener, Ontario. Avea doar 29 de ani.
Masina in care circula Susana a fost lovita din spate de un alt vehicul, la volanul caruia se afla un barbat impotriva caruia autoritatile au formulat nu mai putin de opt capete de acuzare, printre care operarea unui vehicul in stare de ebrietate. Celelalte victime afectate in acest accident care putea fi prevenit sunt sotul Susanei, Razvan, mama lui Razvan (bunica lui George) si scumpul lor copilas George in varsta de doar doua luni. George continua sa lupte pentru viata lui sub ingrijirea echipei de medici de la spitalul Sick Kids din Toronto.
Susana si Razvan s-au casatorit in urma cu doi ani. In primavara acestui an au emigrat in Canada unde au inceput o noua viata. S-au bucurat de venirea pe lume a lui George in luna septembrie, iar curand dupa aceea s-au mutat in London, Ontario unde se obisnuiau cu noul statut de parinti si cu noile lor locuri de munca.
Cei apropiati si-o amintesc pe Susana ca mama si sotie iubitoare, ca arhitect creativ si talentat, cu suflet mare, care raspandea calm in jurul ei. A fost plina de viata. Frumusetea ei interioara a fost pe masura frumusetii ei exterioare, cu ochii ei care zambeau mereu. A iubit florile si deseori petrecea timp in natura impreuna cu sotul ei. Susana isi adora familia si gasea satisfactie pana si in cele mai mici lucruri ale vietii. A fost iubitoare, o mama deosebita si membra activa in biserica.
Prietenii apropiati ai Susanei si a lui Razvan spera sa adune suma de $35.000 pentru a acoperi costurile de repatriere a corpului neinsufletit al Susanei in Romania, unde locuieste familia ei. Orice fonduri aditionale vor fi depozitate intr-un fond fiduciar pentru acoperirea costurilor de ingrijire medicala a micutului George. Actualmente, George continua sa lupte pentru viata, avand in fata o recuperare de lunga durata. In aceste momente grele, cerem sprijinul dumneavoastra in rugaciune pentru Razvan, pentru bebelusul George si pentru familia indurerata care a pierdut o sotie, o mama, o fiica si o sora minunata.
