I'M A 10YR OLD PUBLISHED AUTHOR
Donation protected
Hello everyone! This is a NEW campaign for 10 year old published author Miguel Coppedge of "The Adventure of FireMan" books and upcoming book "Friendly Officers" needs help with funding for projects for current books and publishing for future books.
Miguel became a published author at the age of 9. He published his second book at 10 years old. His first 2 "The Adventures of FireMan" books are about 2 young super heroes who discovered they had super powers and used them for good to fight their arch enemies. he also did a youtube movie for his first book "The Adventures of FireMan" https://youtu.be/m31oezhpf-w
He just recently wrote his third book "Freindly Officers" in dedication to all police around the world. He wants all children to know that there are more "Good" police than "Bad" and that they shouldn't be afraid regardless of skin color which is due to come out before Labor Day.
Projects includes T-shirts, tote bags, action figures, plastic hats, and more.
He needs money to purchase his published books to sell at reading/signings and vending/expo events. His books are hard cover and is very expensive to purchase to the books to sell (50 books are a little over $500 and 100 books are a little over $1000).
However, it's hard to have enough money to fund the projects he wants to do because after he sells his books he has to take at least half his money to buy more books. Therefore, it's not enough left to get T-shirts made or other things he wants made such as stickers, pencils, and plastic fire/police hats.
Miguel has done a number of radio and internet radio interviews and was recently on "Good Morning Washington" discussing his books and short movie. he also, does readings and inspirational speeches at daycares, schools, camps, churches, and youth clubs.
