Musa Masala  is excited to follow Olga Dobranowski as she undertakes an impressive challenge this month, a solo ascent of Mt Ama Dablam, or “the mother’s necklace” in Sherpa language. This is a beautiful technical mountain in the Nepali Himalaya towering at 6,812m or 22,349 ft.

This is Olga’s first time setting foot in the Himalaya and she will share her experiences and impressions along the way.

She is using this climb as an opportunity to continue helping Musa Masala fundraise for the construction of the Wongchhu Sherpa Memorial Hospital in Solukhumbu region of Nepal. She has done so with her solo ascents of Aconcagua and Denali last year!

Olga had an incredible journey on Ama Dablam. Against all odds she was the first one to summit this season! She did it solo and without any fixed lines after Camp 3.

This is quite a feat. She is safely back in Pangboche and is getting well deserved rest.

Check our the photos from the summit!

Please stay tuned for more details on her experience on Ama Dablam and also follow the updates on Facebook. Spread the word and please support her cause to fundraise for the construction of the Wongchhu Sherpa Memorial Hospital.
