Old Orchard Family Fire

At 5:30 Sunday morning June 9th we were awoken by sirens that sounded like they were in our yard. We jumped out of bed to see our neighbors house across the street with 20 foot flames blazing out of the roof!  Thankfully all family members escaped safely!  

Unfortunately the family lost everything.   We went outside to find the family standing outside barefoot and wrapped in blankets given to them by the first responders.  I was able to get all of them shoes and sweatshirts to wear.  Obviously they are in shock and completely devastated.  

I am setting up this fund so they will be able to buy clothes and shoes. They are a family of five. Two parents with a daughter in her early 20s who has a baby girl about 18 months old. The parents also have a 16 year old boy. 

Please donate what what you can to help this family get back on their feet and be ready for the next several months as they pick up the pieces of their lives.

If you can’t afford monetary donations and still want to help, I am also collecting clothing and toiletry  donations. Sizes are as follows-

Man - size medium shirt and 34 pants. Size 10 shoe 

Boy- size XL shirt and XL shorts. Size 10.5 shoe

Woman - size medium shirt and size 10/12 pants. Size 6.5 shoe

Woman - size medium shirt and 8/10 pants.   Size 7.5 / 8 shoe

Baby girl 18/24 months

Please leave them on the back porch in trash bags to protect them. The driveway is  BEHIND our home where the back porch is.
