Nashville Quilt Community Mural
$3,000 of $3,000 goal
This mural is a part of the Off The Wall mural project, a world-class, outdoor art installation designed to bring responsible revitalization to the Charlotte Ave corridor,
Elliott will be working with several Nashvillle-based non-profits who include arts programming as a service offered to the community, including the Parks Center , Poverty and the Arts , Room In The Inn , and the Oasis Center .
The final piece will feature 16 artists and their art who are active in programming offered by these organizations, and it will take several months to complete. During that time, Elliott will be leading several workshops for participating artists, helping them design, plan, and paint for the piece. Author Lily Hansen will interview each artist and photographer Elizabeth Ratliff will capture images throughout the process. At the end of the initiative, these interviews and photos will be used to tell the stories of the artists and organizations and programs that support their work.
Your donation will cover the costs of supplies each artist needs to complete his/her piece and the costs of supplies needed to paint the mural that connects each piece. This includes paint, brushes, and supplies needed to prep and finish the wall. Your donation will also be used to pay contractors hired to assist in the project, such as author Lily Hansen, to allow them to continue their creative work.
Nashville-based donors of $75+ should have received their storybooks today -- and all others will be shipped out tomorrow.
We'd like to thank all of our supporters with a copy of the storybook. We aren't able to view your email addresses through GoFundMe, so please enter your email address at the link below so we can send your e-book to you!

We will be taking a group photo in front of the wall at 9:30am on Saturday, August 19. We want to show what a true community piece looks like, and each face is critical -- financial supporters (like you), artists, families, and volunteers.
