Official Tim Johnson Heart Transplant GoFundMe

My husband, Tim has been diagnosed with congenital heart disease. This means that his heart is seven times the size of a normal one and will not function properly.  He is on the heart transplant list. However, his heart is too weak to wait for a different heart. We are going to install an LVAD which is a mechanical pump. The surgeons plan on doing the procedure on 6/20/2019. He will need to have 8 months of recovery time.
He has been self-employed for over a decade and is no longer eligible for Disability. We are asking for help to gather funds to pay bills while he is in recovery.
We were able to cover all the bills for May and we have reduced or cancelled all services except for the basics. However, I do not think we will be able to cover basic bills for June and future months.  Any amount will help and is greatly appreciated.
