Arizona Teachers #RedforEd Fund

Arizona Teachers and Arizona public schools have been promised additional funding in the past with nothing coming to fruition. This campaign isn't just about the students, our teachers, or any one specific person. This campaign is about doing what is right to ensure a better future for all residents in AZ. Even if/when AZ teachers are promised a raise it will not make up for the $1 billion dollars that has been stripped from school funding over the past decade. The money raised in this campaign will go directly into the schools “gift” accounts to be utilized for purchasing supplies, funding after school programs, and anything else the SCHOOLS feel necessary.
EVERY single dollar raised will be split evenly among the 325 public schools in the valley. If the campaign does not take off and reach its goal of $100,000 I will be contacting each donor to ask which specific school they would like the money donated to if they have a preferred school in mind.
Everyone is tired of the lies and failed promises our government gives to our schools and teachers. The time has come to take action. Let's show what caring people can do faster than any elected government officials fail to do. I know the goal of #redfored is to get the government to step in and allocate the money, rather than private money funding. However, no matter the amount of money that ends up being allocated for schools through government budgets; the budget still won’t be nearly enough of what they deserve.
I'm not a teacher or even a parent, my mom works in a school so I understand the daily struggles and the lack of funding schools receive in AZ. I'm just an AZ realtor and a native of Arizona who attended AZ schools in the 90s/00’s and I believe education truly matters in a constantly evolving world. We have over 1.5 million homeowners in the greater Phoenix area and if the schools received just $5 from every homeowner schools would have more than 7.5 million dollars to utilize for the future of education in our state.
Even if you can only afford $1, every donation counts and is much appreciated!
