The 2014 Ferguson unrest has given the world an insight into the risks faced by our local police officers and first responders as they risk ther lives to serve and protect.  We achieved our initial goals by providing assistance to these heroes working the front lines across our community as a result of the Ferguson protests.   We've also gotten an officer into a $1300 protective vest and we continue to actively feed officers working extended shifts against protesters.

We have already given $4500 cash and additional thousands in catered food to the St. Louis Police & Wives to aid in their efforts to feed officers working extensive hours!  Thank you for helping us assist local officers at this diffucult time.

War has been waged upon our heroes.  Many local officers are not issued vests (body armor/tactical gear) by their departments.  We cannot allow them to face this increasing danger without appropriate protection.  These funds will continue to be utilized to purchase any necessary gear or needs requested for officers.

This campaign is sponsored by the WE ARE DARREN WILSON (Officer Needs Assistance USA) Facebook page  https://www.facebook.com/wearedarrenwilsonofficial

For more information on who we are and where we're headed, check out our YouTube video  http://youtu.be/zYwa3--G074 and stand with us and our local law enforcement!

how could officers be "in need" when they have careers and good wages?? I live on $730 per month... this is like those people who drive cars to foodbanks and leave their cars running for heat while the rest of us are at the foodbank who are legitimately poor... come on guys its not like this effort is to buy work clothes for homeless people. I get that officers need vests but what about all that money that's supposedly militarizing the police?? you mean that military gear doesn't come with vests? cause that would be weird. can afford swat vehicles but not vests.... huh.

We know that there is a need to help the community and assisting law enforcement will also be assisting in the communities well being. Our goals are set to follow up with community relations. Unfortunately, with the increasing threats to our officers, it leaves them more vulnerable for attacks on their life. The bigger communities or townships have funds to purchase vest and supplies through taxes and other revenues. The officers in some of these smaller poverty stricken communities are left to buy their own weapons and ammo with wages ranging $10-$13 hour. In some cases the chief feeding prisoners from his own pocket. I applaud you for living on you budget and being humble, but these officers are risking their lives for what you may think is alot of money, doesn't compare to a life. It's also these places where crime is high and these officers need every advantage to combat crime. Our program is to assist them to fight crime and get them the tools necessary to do so. I hope you can see how assisting these officers to clean up these neighborhoods will in return helping the people and better the community. Less crime will bring more people , businesses, jobs and pride to the communities. For there is no color to be American, just family, community, and God. May the Lord Bless our LawEnforcement and bring them home safely every night. Thank you for you support and that was a good question. I hope i helped answer it . Feel free to send any suggestions or comments to ONAUSA

To Organizer—you are doing a great job! I don't have any police friend and even don't know any officer's name. But after Dallas and Baton Rouge police officer deaths at ambush, I decide to do something for them--- just start from a small step—donate $30. More in the future!
