Off-duty Firefighter injured helping at accident

On the morning of March 1st, Vail Fire Lieutenant Scott Bridges was heading to work in a snow storm when he came upon a multiple car roll-over accident. He pulled over to help and heard yelling coming from an overturned vehicle. Details are unknown, but shortly after getting out of his vehicle Scott was hit by a vehicle and suffered substantial injuries to his head and face.

Most Firefighters are hard-wired to be selfless and put others needs before their own, Lieutenant Bridges has proven time and time again he is no exception. He has always been the type of person friends can count on in times of need and we're trying to help him and his family in his time of need. He will be unable to work for an undetermined period of time and may require multiple surgeries as a result of the accident. Any amount you can spare will be very helpful as he gets on the road to recovery. All money raised will go directly to Scott and his wife Fiona to offset the financial burdens associated with his injuries.

Anything helps, even just sharing this post.. Thank you for your consideration.
