OC Yogi's can make a difference!
The OC Yogis CARE project is the brain-child of our founder, Lauren Dahl, who in November of 2016 brought a group of us together to create a Not-for-Profit group to help make the world a better place.

We are but a humble group of yoga teachers, musicians, and healers from Orange County, California, who are seeking to make the world a better place.
OC Yogis CARE project's mission is to raise funds for non-profits that have the aim to undermine the conservative policies of the 2017 administration. We seek to create a community of yogis and healers desiring to resist any legislation, amendments, laws, or policies by the new administration aiming to destroy the environment, roll back civil liberties, or make opaque government activities.
Our first event occured in January of 2017 and 100% of the donations went to the ACLU. Thanks to a dollar for dollar match from Sia, we raised over $1500! James Gilliam, the Deputy Executive Director of the ACLU of Southern California was our honored guest speaker. You can learn about our upcoming events here .

Our wish is to donate 100% of the funds raised from every event to the charity of that month. But we have some small costs to run our group and we don't want our friends and family to start running away every time they see us because we keep asking for donations to help. Help us keep our loved ones!
Our costs are truly minimal - some printing fees to create postcards and flyers and signs, a P.O. Box, and our yearly web hosting and url fees. We would truly appreciate any amount you can spare to our cause and we promise to work hard to make sure it makes a difference!
