Thieves preyed on an OAP in a distraction burglary at a property in Greasley Road, Abbey Hulton.
Police say man and a woman knocked on the home of an elderly resident asking for water as the woman was feeling ill.
They entered the house and took a handbag from the table before making their escape up Greasley Road towards the local school.

We are trying to raise as much money as we can, by pulling together as a community and supporting these people! Please give as much or as little as you can to such a worthy cause.

Thank you!!
