Oak Cliff Churches Emergency Aid

Oak Cliff Churches for Emergency Aid (OCCEA) is a critical resource for the needy in 12 zip codes in the South West/West Dallas area and has been in operation for 40 years. The organization is in urgent need of funds to continue their mission.   Serving approximately 300 families per month, OCCEA operates primarily as a food pantry but can offer limited assistance for utilities, rent, gasoline and prescriptions. They also work in close contact with agencies such as The Senior Source of Dallas to provide heaters in winter and window air conditioners in Summer for housebound elderly.  Those who seek help from OCCEA are in dire need of assistance.  The administrative/overhead costs for OCCEA are extremely low, so virtually every penny gets directly used to help the clients: Dallas families, individuals, the elderly, disabled and discouraged.

OCCEA has no paid staff, yet work tirelessly and are excellent stewards of donated funds.
