ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Nubian Princess Books are the brain-child of Pan-African entrepreneur and author Fanta Joalane Jabbie. Her vibrant fairytales feature princesses from eleven African different tribes. The heroine’s lives are steeped in ancestral wisdom, tradition and magic. They are skilled at navigating classroom environments and making shrewd business decisions. Best of all, the princesses harness the power of philanthropy to advance and sustain their communities. 
Born and raised on the African continent, Fanta Jabbie’s career path afforded her numerous opportunities to reside in Europe and America. Fanta’s passion for travel and making friends from diverse backgrounds gives her stories universal appeal and a refreshing perspective. Her greatest desire is for children the world over find joy, inspiration and self-esteem in her stories. 
 ABOUT THE PROJECT
The goal of the Nubian Princess Book Project is to ensure that children and families everywhere can enjoy wonderful stories about Africa written from the vantage point of Africans.
Our books promote literacy, gender equality, self-esteem, family, world citizenship and appreciation for diversity. They contain important social messages and tackle subjects such as the dangers of deforestation, underaged marriage, domestic and child abuse. Not only are these issues relevant to the African continent, but they are of global concern. 
In order to distribute our stories internationally, we are raising funds to publish and deliver books via hard copy and download.  Their are several tiers to our ambitious project.
PROJECT GOALS GUINEAN DISTRIBUTION
1.) We are located in Guinea, West Africa. One of the world's most impoverished countries, Guinea has an alarmingly low literacy rate and terrible problems with gender equality.
We plan to donate copies of "The Mandigo Princess," a tale that features a Guinean princess, to schools, community centers and orphanages in the Capital city Conakry and to remote rural villages cut off from the rest of the country. 
Your financial support will enable us to encourage literacy in Guinean families and communities by offering them the opportunity to root for a culturally relevant heroine who resembles them. 
INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION
2.) Fanta Jabbie has written eleven books about princesses from different cultures. These young women triumph over great obstacles though determination, intelligence and a bit of help from an African fairy godmother or two.
Well, right now, we need a bit of magic. We are offering you the opportunity to become our fairy godmothers and fathers! 
Nubian Princess Books must be available internationally. There is a huge demand for stories featuring African heroines and heroes. Africans, descendants of Africa and those who love the richness of our numerous cultures are hungry for representation, information and entertainment.
If we wait around for a large Western publishing company to find us, the stories may never be told. And that would be a truly terrible thing. If you or someone you love dreams of reading a different bedtime story, this is your opportunity to make that dream a reality.
