Going Home Celebration for Sheila Ann. Jett
Donation protected
Imagine talking to your mother, like you always do, telling her you love her and you hope her day is blessed. Then in the middle of the night you learn that she has passed away.
On Saturday June 1st, someone did just that. Our beautiful mother, Sheila Jett, was riding her bike, as she usually does, and was hit by a car on Schoolcraft (between Bentler & Westbrook) around 8:30pm and 9:30pm. Instead of rendering help, the driver decided to leave her there. They took it upon themselves to determine if our mother was able to see her children, grandchildren and great grandchild again. They decided whether or not she would continue her journey to grow closer to God. Our mother was a happy, joyous women with plans to enjoy the life that God gave her. There is no excuse for anyone to be treated the way that she was.
Instead of making plans for family dinner on Sunday, we’re arranging a funeral for our mother who was tragically taken from us.
