My neighbors home burned down at 10:00 on thanksgiving eve into the morning of thanksgiving. It was everything they had. EVERYTHING of 70+ years. They lost many animals included in this. It’s truly devastating. They left with just the pjs on their back and nothing more.
We were able to find 1 goat of the 15 so far(still searching), the mule, 9 ducks, 1 goose of 9 so far, and 2 of the 3 dogs made it out! No cats as of yet and chickens are unknown.
There will be medical bills, feed bills, and clothing needs, as well as unknown expenses popping up that these homesteaders will need assistance with. Any help you can do will be appreciated!
