Charlie needs your help!

Anyone who has ever met Steph Skertich knows her dog, Charlie, means the absolute world to her. She's a travel nurse and that means Charlie is always right there with her at every adventure. From running beaches in San Diego to hiking in Denver - he's always been by her side.
Out of nowhere last week, Charlie started acting a little off. He was unable to walk straight and would only walk in circles. He continued to lose his balance and fall down. He's only 3, so Steph was hyper aware that this was not normal and took him to the vet. After a multitude of tests by a neurologist, they determined he has Multifocal Encephalitis. This causes his brain to swell. Multiple areas of his brain and brain stem have been affected. They believe this was caused by his immune system being overactive. There's no way to know what actually caused it though.
Charlie needed an MRI and a spinal tap. As of now, he's at the animal hospital getting chemotherapy to suppress his immune system and steroids to help with the inflammation of his brain. Sadly, there's no cure for this but it can be manageable with lifelong immunosuppressants.
All of this is extremely expensive. I'm asking for help to assist Steph in covering the looming medical costs for Charlie.
