Many of you probably see a lot of homeless people around town standing with their cardboard signs begging for money or food. What a lot of may not know is there's thousands of vets who are starving, freezing, and homeless. Most of them Korea and Vietnam vets who suffer from PTSD from wars beyond what any of us have ever seen. They need help, they need food and clothes to help them survive. I wanted to start a campaign where we can buy warm clothes, and meals and deliver them to vets around town once a week. They've suffered through so much and I don't want to see them suffer more then they have to. I'm asking for your help and maybe build some karma this year and even save a life that years and years ago saved ours.

Hey Kyle : Here's a solution to the homeless vets problem. Lets house these vets in the many empty barracks on bases across the country. Provide them with job training and personal finances classes. Build their morale with with light marching, drills and personal hygiene inspections. Employ them to clean the grounds and repair equipment. I believe the French Foreign Legion has a similar program for their vets.

Kyle, I was really moved to hear about your helping the homeless Vets, as I am a Vet and was homeless for almost 3 yrs. I finally got some help when I got into a program for homeless Vets in Hampton Va. There I found out about a little known program, the Non service connected pension. Any Vet with any type of disability can get this pension and if they are homeless they will expedite it in about 3 weeks. I now get 1075 a month. God Bless

My daughter is working on a Girl Scout project for her gold award, and she was wanting to work on something for homeless rather they are veterans or not. If you could possibly help her out with some first steps. Thank you very much. Brenda Pyles

I'm so proud of your movement! Did you see the comment from Ray Sampson? Why can't you look into that? The buildings, the land, it's all there; have the gov't lease it to your organization for a fraction of the cost. I mean, the military made them this way, let them help fix the problem. Also, it would give you an opportunity to reach more vets by expanding to other states. Original Comment: Ray Sampson 4 months ago Hey Kyle : Here's a solution to the homeless vets problem. Have send Kyle a message to solve the problem. Not only for vets , but for all those that serve our nation. I will make it no cost for all to purchase what they need/want. I am also looking for people to start ventures to help the economy. Sell a product/service and make it no cost. I was direct and to the point. For those interested, send contact number/time available ET. thomas adair at live dot come How I do such is proprietary.
