Help us bring this public art project to life!
TIME MACHINE will be an Augmented Reality tour through New Orleans’ timeline. There will be an app that visitors can download on their phones. This app will be activated by logos that will be printed on the information signs placed around the Luna Fete festival.
A logo on one side of the sign will activate a scene from the future. Time Traveling tour guides will guide visitors to each sign and tell the stories of the future scenes.
LUNA FETE is an arts festival in New Orleans that focuses on new technology. It takes place December 6-9 in Lafayette Square. Last year 50,000 people visited Luna Fete over three days.
We have one month before the festival starts. Students from LSU have been working hard creating animations of the future. Now we need to bring it all together.
Funds will be used to buy software and develop the app, print the banners that will be placed through the festival, buy costumes for the tour guides, and bring the LSU students to New Orleans for the festival.
