NO JUSTICE NO PEACE FOR ERIC RIVERA
HELP US PROTEST AGAINST THE LAPD AND GET JUSTICE FOR THE MURDER OF OUR SON. LAPD KILLED OUR SON ERIC RIVERA ON JUNE 6,2017. HE WAS ONLY 20 YEARS OLD.

TWO LAPD OFFICERS APPROACHED MY SON AS HE WAS WALKING DOWN THE STREET. THE POLICE OFFICERS BOTH JUMPED OUT OF THEIR PATROL CAR AND THE DRIVER OFFICER LEFT THE POLICE CRUISER IN DRIVE AND FAILED TO PUT IT IN PARK. THE POLICE OFFICER THAT WAS DRIVING THE POLICE CAR INJURED HIMSELF WITH THE POLICE CRUISER WHEN HE LEFT IT IN DRIVE. BECAUSE OF "THEIR" NEGLIGENCE THEY BEGAN TO SHOOT AT MY SON. THEY SHOT HIM 7 TIMES WITH 1 FATAL SHOT TO THE HEAD AS THEIR OUT OF CONTROL CAR RAN HIM OVER PINNING HIM UNDERNEATH THE FRONT OF THEIR CAR. THEY LEFT HIM LAYING THERE FOR 12 HOURS AND HAD TO HAVE A CRANE COME OUT AND LIFT THE PATROL CAR OFF OF HIM. HE GOT EXCESSIVE BURN MARKS ON HIS CHEST FROM THE HEAT OF THEIR CAR. HIS BODY WAS MANGLED UNDER IT. 
My son did not deserve to die like that. They executed him. Thats what they did. And to top it off, they are still working. Yup, went back to work the very next day. How is that even right?! How can LAPD allow two murderous cops to still patrol. Heck, the driver officer jumped out a moving vehicle and failed to put it in park! How is he still allowed to drive?! Isnt that illegal? I have so many questions and none answered yet. Losing Eric has changed not only my life but the lives of his whole family. We have been doing everything we can to get the JUSTICE that he deserves and to also spread the word about what happened to him. I have been attending every protest in front of our District Attorney Jackie Lacey's office. Eric was Philip's only child. Yup, they took his only child away. I have 4 other sons. Eric was my first born and the oldest of his 4 brothers. His brothers have also been a big part to these protests as well. 
My family and I have been standing along side many other families that have lost their loved one as well. Along with many groups and organizations such as "BLACK LIVES MATTER" "WHITE PEOPLE FOR BLACK LIVES" CENTRO CSO" and many many more. It has been an honor to fight along side all these beautiful people and to stand up for my son. D.A. Jackie Lacey has been in office
for over 5 years and has not prosecuted one killer cop out of almost 300 lives. She agreed to have a community meeting with the families and than turned around and said she felt it was "UNPRODUCTIVE" and backed out of the meeting. We still held the meeting and it turned out to be "VERY PRODUCTIVE". That is why we need to get Jackie Lacey out of office for District Attorney. She is protecting these officers that are getting away with "MURDER". She is not working for the people, she is working against the people!

We have also been going to the Los Angeles Police Commission meeting and plan on going every tuesday. We wont go to court until 2020. I hope and pray that the New Chief of Police will do an excellent job and do much better than the last Chief of Police Charlie Beck. I also pray that Jackie Lacey gets replaced with someone more suitable for that job. Heres is a link to my first meeting with the police commission.

I hope the police commissioners get use to us because we arent going anywhere. My family and I are standing strongly for my son. We wont stop until JUSTICE IS SERVED. That is why i really need help with being able to attend all these meetings, protests and gatherings. Living in Adelanto is a long drive to LA every week. But worth it to me because im doing it for my son Eric. Its a struggle but by the grace of God i have been able to get through this. I would also love to make more signs and maybe even buttons to show support for my son Eric. Any help we can get to help through this struggle and any support as well is greatly appreciated. I LOVE YOU SON SO MUCH. THANK YOU FOR BEING BY MY SIDE EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. I KNOW YOUR SPIRIT IS VERY MUCH ALIVE AND IM TRULY BLESSED TO HAVE YOU IN MY LIFE. I WILL NEVER LET YOUR NAME GO UNSPOKEN. I WILL ALWAYS KEEP YOUR SPIRIT ALIVE. REST IN HEAVEN MY SON UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN. 
P.S I also had a press conference with Eric's dad Philip and have also been on many news channels. We also have had someone reach out to us and did a documentary about Eric's life and how it sadly ended. It is not out yet but it is being worked on.
