Meet precious Ninja. In mid-December, this sweet six-year-old pug boy was hit by a car. His injuries are devasting, but he's a never-going-to-giveup fighter! And he needs a tribe to help him recovery. Please join us!

Thanks to a Good Samaritan who acted quickly Ninja survived, but he’s in rough shape. His right back leg is broken and he can’t use his left leg. We rushed him into the University of Illinois veterinary center and they did an MRI which showed two herniated discs. He has undergone spinal surgery. His leg will be a separate surgery due to the length of anesthesia. So he’ll be in a cast for a couple weeks, then back in for surgery #2. Finally, the trauma of the accident has caused him to go blind in one eye. The vet thinks it’s a detached retina, but it doesn’t seem to be bothering him.

The initial estimate is $7,500 - $9,000, but we could not turn our back on him. He deserves this second chance and we’ll be with him through the entire recovery.

Can you help us by donating and sharing Ninja’s story? Every donation means a second chance for Ninja. We can’t wait to share more updates with you all. Peace, love and pugs! - NIPRA

Ninja recently had his second surgery (this time on his leg) and just had the stitches removed today. Our little man didn't waste any time trying to standup. He's still favoring his front legs, but his foster dad is going to work with him on starting to use his back legs again.

The vet was super impressed with his progress. It's because of all your prayers and support. Thank you!
