Nikas Motorcycle Accident Fund

Donation protected
On July 25 of this year Nikas, whom I consider family, was tragically hit by a negligent car driver while riding his motorcycle here in West Hollywood, and life as we knew it was radically turned upside down.   By the grace of God, and having had a near death experience (N.D.E.), he is alive and well and recovering slowly, day by day.

Thankfully after 3 weeks in a coma in the ICU, 2 1/2 months in 2 hospitals, his father by his side, and numerous surgeries to install hardware to support the 22 broken bones that helped put Nikas back together again, Nikas was discharged from the final hospital and walked out the front door of his own volition, (ok maybe limped slowly, with the help of a cane is more accurate) to continue his recovery at home.  Nikas' speedy recovery thus far with minimal brain damage has been nothing short of an absolute miracle!!!

The only lasting damage it appears are his eyes. As he currently experiences a blurriness and double vision in both eyes; however we're crossing our fingers that additional eye surgeries will improve this condition greatly. Otherwise it looks like another 3 months of physical therapy and rest to rebuild his strength which will get him back on his feet!

PLEASE HELP US, help him, to put a nice sizable down payment on a car, (as one needs transportation in LA and no more motorcycles for Nikas!) as well as help him to cover the many small expenses that his insurance company will not cover (like new Rx eye glasses that will help his sight). Nikas is currently not working (obviously) and he will have to approach his work/career life in a very different when that time comes. Until then he's relying on the help and kindness of friends and family to help make it through this challenging stage of his life.

Please, help Nikas with whatever size of gift you can give. No amount is too small and anything you spare would be greatly appreciated! Although I’ve only known Nikas for about 5 years, he has been nothing less than a pillar of strength and a source of constant inspiration in my life. He has also saved my life, on more than one occasion, no exaggeration.  Let us show him now that we are all here to support him in this difficult journey ahead.
