Nicolas Giraud Medical Fund

As you may or may not know, our dear friend Nicolas Giraud, went in to have a mole removed from his right cheek, thinking it would be a routine procedure. He and his family were surprised to hear that he had an aggressive form of melanoma.

After surgery and further testing, the doctors found that it has spread into his lymphatic system, elevating his melanoma to stage three. After a recent PET scan, the doctors found another suspicious area in the lymph nodes in his neck.

The next PET scan is scheduled for September 18th and will determine the next action steps. Nico will likely have to undergo more surgery and two years of intravenous immunotherapy to help fight the cancer.

It isn't easy to ask for help. But the last thing Nico should be worrying about during this difficult time is how to pay his mounting medical bills.
