Hurricane Employee Help!

Nick's Steak and Seafood is a family owned and operated restaurant in Hilton Head Island, SC. Our island was devastated last week by Hurricane Matthew. While I write this days later, we are still not allowed back into the island; we do not know the condition of our homes and our restaurant. But my main concern is for my employees who rely on our restaurant to support their families. Many evacuated days before the storm as mandated by our amazing governor Nikki Haley; but that has meant the expense of days in hotel. Many of our employees rely on tips and as long as the business is closed they are not making money. We are asking for anything that you can give to help these individuals; Sam, Ryan, Howie, Jay, Pat, Amy, Craig, Kasey, Caitlin, Ed, Jeremy and Shawn. We do hope that insurance will help to cover some of the lost wages but we have no idea as to when we could expect to receive this. Any funds raised will be dispersed among our staff to cover their day to day living expenses.
Being originally from Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, two areas that frequent our beautiful island, we hope that you will continue to support us in the coming weeks and months as we try to rebuild Hilton Head.
